ROYCE DA 5'9"

This Detroit native first tweaked ears a couple years back upon releasing a few short run singles for Tommy Boy Records that earned him immediate 'rated next' status in many hip hop publications. Unsatisfied with the lack of priority given to him by the label, Royce has since jumped ships to Game/Columbia Records, and is currently putting the finishing touches on a new album set for release later this year. To date, Royce has been featured on albums by Eminem, UK r&b heavyweight Craig David, pop singer Willa Ford, hip hop trendsetter DJ Clue, and the Rawkus compilation Lyricist Lounge Vol. 2, as well as being enlisted as ghostwriter for Dr. Dre on the multi-platinum, Chronic 2001.
